PALESTINE

The landscape of the occupied territories of Palestine is of surveillance and solidarity. One can sense the occupation at every moment: the IDF armed against a majority unarmed population, the settlements perched atop hillsides like overseers, the checkpoints arresting the every day, and the wall attempting to create disparate neighborhoods and communities. Even still, people continue to resist Israeli occupation and state violence through protest, communalism, and solidarity.
